“ASTRA 🧡 You” is printed everywhere as we think everyone needs love, today more than ever. Society feels heavy lately—too many conflicts, not enough care. So we wanted to send a message that cuts through the chaos. A quiet reminder you're seen, you’re heard, and someone out there remembers you. Even if it’s just us here, your barista.

It means love moves the sun, the soul, the stars. We adapted it from Paradiso, Dante’s Divine Comedy, an epic poem about the ascent towards light, love and truth (the actual latin line is "L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle" or “The love that moves the sun and the other stars.”.

We recreated it to add a little bit of love back into the everyday. A whisper of sweetness with your coffee. A nod to the beauty of what it means to be human. Yes, we can’t change the world, yet we might be able to change your day. And, perhaps, maybe, that will be more than enough.

Saving Our Earth

Because the planet needs love now, we're also working on how to perfect sustainable practices and processes that apply to us.

We're close to zero waste, for each day we prepare just enough food to avoid discards and also double use produce. Even in the small stuff, we pay attention. If we notice you like eating your croissant by hand, we won't send it out with a fork and knife, this is to preserve precious water by unnecessary washing

So no matter what, no matter how tough things are, think of love. For if nothing else, it’s this unmistakeable living force that brings forth life, and we hope we can bring some of it into your lives as well.
